Living in a neighborhood with stellar views of Little Cottonwood Canyon near Falcon Park, Matthew primarily works remotely with small orchard production facilities and cideries across the country and around the world to support the small agriculture economy.
Overseeing the logistics of importation, managing inventory, and fulfillment by working directly with Utah state employees. He also works with locally owned restaurants to enhance menu offerings and educate staff.
Originally from Wisconsin, he credits his Midwest values and integrity to his success in building strong relationships. Matthew moved to Utah in 2000 for the outdoor recreation opportunities, is a proud Eagle Scout, and volunteered for 17 years in the National Ski Patrol (Brighton, 2000-2008)

There are a lot of problems facing the city of Sandy, Salt Lake County, and the State of Utah.
Why shouldn't Sandy, Utah take the lead and set the example?
I want to be a part of the solution, represent community interests with fairness, listen to diverse viewpoints, and utilize relevant data to make informed, analytical decisions as a Sandy City council member.
